CIBC Network staff reviews applications on an ongoing basis and will contact applicants for an interview upon receipt of the online application and submission of a resume. Staff then invites applicants to join the CIBC Network. CIBC staff provides orientation and required training on the policy and procedures of CIBC Network to the new consultants in order for the consultants to become eligible for contracted technical assistance assignments.
Participants of the California Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning (CSEFEL) trainer of training events and those using the teaching pyramid model are invited to apply if they meet the consultant qualifications and commitment ability.
Applicants are especially encouraged to apply who live in rural areas and the following counties: Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, Glenn, Kern, Kings, Imperial, Inyo, Lassen, Los Angeles, Madera, Mariposa, Monterey, Modoc, Mono, Nevada, Orange, Placer, Plumas, Riverside, San Benito, San Bernardino, San Joaquin, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz, Sierra, Stanislaus, Trinity, Tulare, Ventura, and Yuba.
Steps to Becoming a CIBC Consultant
1. Review consultant roles & responsibilities, qualifications, and commitment.
2. Complete online consultant application.
3. Attach current resume to the application and submit.
4. After receiving application AND resume, CIBC staff will contact the applicant to schedule a phone interview.
