Using the CIBC collaborative problem solving approach, the teachers and site administrator developed a daily routine that would allow for children to have longer, sustained periods of choices. To address the lack of materials, the students in my community college course made cardboard blocks for the children to use in the block area and we provided dramatic play materials for their housekeeping area.
